Change Makers

Introduction:

“If everyone is a changemaker, there's no way a problem can outrun a solution” — Bill Drayton

We know that youth are not always given the space, freedom and opportunity to use their talents and skills to grapple with the challenges affecting their lives. Nevertheless, we believe in the power of youth, wherever they may be located. The #Changemakers Module seeks to unlock their potential in initiating, influencing and making changes while creating solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time.

This module highlights lectures on Philippine governance and migration, as well as tours to the Corregidor Island and Taal Volcano. The group will also have the opportunity to immerse in a Gawad Kalinga Community and participate in the host families' daily activities overnight. Your muscles may be a little tired and sore at the end of this module, but we assure you that you will be renewed and inspired!
